Crossroads Baptist Church is sponsoring dinner at the Thurman Brisban Shelter on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 and hope you can join us. This is our opportunity to show compassion to others in need while proclaiming the gospel. We need volunteers to help prepare the meal, serve the meal, sing hymns and be ready with your Bibles to lead someone to Christ. You can volunteer for the entire time or for however long you have available. The tentative schedule is:
-- 4:00 - Prepare for Dinner
-- 6:00 - Sing a hymn or two
-- 10-15 minute message
-- 6:20 - Serve Dinner & fellowship with the residents
The ODACS competition is Saturday, January 30th beginning at 9:00am at Faith Baptist Church. The Old Dominion Association of Church Schools (ODACS) is an organization of church school ministries throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. ODACS Competition is a regional and state-wide competition in Bible, Academics, and Fine Arts. We have several Crossroads Youth participating in this competition.
